Hardtop weather stripping

Any input on the brand of weather stripping on the bottom of the tj hardtop? I can get the oem pieces but they are 40 days out to get them.

Buy whatever you can get since these pieces are no longer made to my knowledge.

I bought an aftermarket "heavy duty" kit several years ago. I don't recommend the aftermarket bits-they are too thick and the hardtop doesn't fit as it should and sits too high. This causes the rear glass and tailgate to have a very poor seal as well as excessive wind noise around the windshield header.

That's exactly the kit I used. I don't recommend it.

All you need is 1/8" closed cell weather stripping. 1" wide
You can get it at Home Depot.

That is the one I used. It was a little high to begin with, but it squished down over time.
