Hardwired 5V USB port?

Here is my old switch panel that I installed two 15 watt USB ports.
I purchased a few of these USB power supply on Ebay.
My new switch panel I used one of the USB power supplies a used the extension cords that install in a panel.
Someone has them on a previous post.

Edit: Does it charge a phone? I have an Iphone 6.
That's similar to the one I used. And Yes, it will charge a phone itputs out 5 vdc@15 watts to each port.
I think mine was cheaper on Steal-Bay but it came from China on the boat. which take a couple weeks to get here..lol
I bought a few I was going to put them in each of our cars.
You will need to find the tiny screws.
I tapped into the key switched 12 wire to the cigarette sockets. Or I would put a switch on it if you tap into the unswitched socket wire.

Since they're made in China I figure I'd cover my ass and buy from Amazon. I'm also going to buy some (20
) covers for the ports to keep dirt out and a couple short lightning cables.I'm not sure yet if I want to go switched or unswitched. I tend to like unswitched so I can charge when parked.
I had thought about adding one too for charging (and now that my radio has USB input too for Android Auto).
Why I opted not to is because we're in a bit of a wild west of fast charging with no one charger supporting all technologies. My radio does slow charging which is fine on a long trip, but fast charging can also be nice for short trips to the store when I forgot to charge it the night before.
Recently to upgrade my slow slow pre-2010 charger, I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GZ78R6D/?tag=wranglerorg-20
It can stay neatly in a 12v outlet that I don't think I've used for anything except charging phones. When the technology changes so can the charger.

On the opposite end of elaborate is my in-dash wireless charging dock. So far, it has worked on at least 4 different phones since I built it 3-4 years ago.
Poor quality ones can actually cause issues with phones. Just something to keep in mind. I won't go into depth about it, but you can search online.
