Harmonic Balancer Fail

I’ve never changed one, but this looks like it’s failing, correct?

if yes, is this an ok part to get after market, or one that a Mopar is a big difference?

has anyone done this without taking off the radiator, might be tight but thinking possible.

Also, I'm seeing people saying they need a flywheel holder, I've got a 6 speed, I can put this in gear with wheels down, am I missing something?

I changed mine when doing timing chain at the time went with OEM because research showed getting a good aftermarket unit was hit or miss

Nope not missing anything, the Harmonic balance puller also give you a place for a pry to hold back.

Just borrow or rent the correct puller and be sure to replace the oil seal on the timing cover.

I think it’s discontinued from Mopar, unfortunately.
Actually, just the one for up to 2/11/2000 models.

Your TJ is after 2000? Then they still sell it from mopar apparently. Check your vin number on there to be sure.

Looks like two different part numbers before and after 2/2000. The older one is discontinued.
