I've never seen that before, but I like it. The clean install is what makes it. Did you purchase from a dealer or private seller? If private seller, did they spend a lot of time on back roads where maybe they had deer or other animals running out in front of them? Those would light the sides of the road up pretty good I would think.

mrblaine had a good idea that maybe the Multi Function Switch was replaced with a non fog light version.

You can run your VIN number on a site and get a build sheet that will tell you if it came with fog lights from the factory. I don't recall the site right now though.

They look very similar to the bow lights I had on my 36' Chris Craft.

As far as mods go, that was done better than many hillbilly mods I see, and as mentioned, interesting use of the fuel filler bezels, but something tells me that particular Jeep had no need for such lights.
