Has anyone used wranglerfix.com for replacement PCMs?

Hello guys coming at you from Oklahoma. Quick question about the company wranglerfix.com. Has anyone used them or have any knowledge of their work. I have a 2006 TJ 4.0 with manual transmission. I was getting all 4 02 sensor codes along with intermittent stalling issues. The problem would stop during the cooler months only to return during summer. I read several reviews about wranglerfix.com fixing the 05/06 pcm problems with hard shifting but not many about issues with manual transmission. If you have or know anyone that has experience with them please let me know. Thank you

I don’t know about the manuals either, but I have a WrangerFix PCM in my ’06 auto. Coming up on 1 year with zero issues.

Call Mark at @Wranglerfix . He’ll be able to help you figure it out

@Wranglerfix is probably one of the best companies out there, hands down. Mark is friendly, knowledgeable, and an incredibly nice guy. You'd be a fool to use anyone else for a replacement PCM other than @Wranglerfix.

I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with a manual transmission (NSG370).

I have a spare PCM that I bought from Mark just to have as a replacement. I've driven around with it plenty and it works fantastic, no issues whatsoever :)

Any update on your pcm from wrangler fix? I have an 05 with manual transmission. Have all 4 o2 sensors failing heater circuits high and low, crank sensor cel, multi cyl misfire, and gauge cluster shuts down. All symptoms of the pcu. Have you used the new pcu and how is it?

Sorry for the slow response. I did receive a pcm from wranglerfix.com. The issue was that it was for an automatic transmission instead of a manual as mine is. I tried contacting mark to see how or why the mix up but could not get in touch with him. I decided what the heck I’m going to try this pcm and see what happens. So I switched out my original with the wrangler fix.com pcm and started it up. A dtc code turned on my trouble light so I read it and it was a p0700 related to transmission. I have put probably 3 or 4 thousand miles on it since then and the only issue I have found is the trouble code and my cruise control don’t work which completely makes since. I finally did hear from mark and was informed he got me and another customer switched up and that he would resolve the issue by sending the correct pcm. There is a 400.00 difference between the auto vs standard pcm from there. I thanked him for returning my call and informed him I would be waiting for the pcm for the manual transmission. I haven’t heard anything since then and just an estimate but I would say that was probably a month and a half when we spoke. Granted Florida is probably a pretty crazy place with the stuff going on right now. That’s my situation but just to inform anyone that may not know the auto pcm will work in place of the manual transmission pcm but I doubt it works the other way around.

I will say with 100% certainty that yes it is your pcm all the same issues I had and all the issues are gone and I just have a p0700 dtc and my cruise control not working but gauges, crank, cam, all 4 o2 sensors, along with random stalls have ceased so even though I received the pcm for an auto transmission I’m still pretty satisfied. I feel like other companies that refurb pcms are a shot in the dark. I couldn’t afford 1000.00 and then turn around and have to replace it again.

I used them on my 06 when i had error codes popping up like crazy, transmission wasn't shifting and the jeep drove like garage. I could not believe what a difference the jeep drove after i switched out the computer. Night and day. Best thing i even purchased for my jeep.

You haven't received the correct pcm since he got back to you a month and a half ago??
He said it should take 2 weeks to get me my pcm for a manual transmission when I spoke to him yesterday. Kinda nervous now...

No I have not originally he told me 2 weeks also but I got the first probably a week and a half I hope that he sends me the correct one or sends me the difference in cost of the auto vs manual however I am still way better off than I was

Just ordered one as well to address the hard shift into second, erroneous transmission overtemp code, and some TCM and PCM codes my Bluesky OBD scanner found. Hope to have good news to report soon. Ordered Friday, Mark stated it would go out Monday.

I will refund the difference between an automatic/manual for you and I apologize for the delay in answering. Please send me your order number whenever you can.

We are very close to figuring out how to turn (and keep off) all codes on the pcm like the one running your Jeep. Rest assured we aren’t going anywhere.

And, yes, as a total aside, Florida has lost it’s mind. Curfews, covid and hurricanes (The weather channel called Florida Covid-Cane 2020!) Besides Broward County being just left of Chaz, it’s a great place to call home.

I will be making a video about the manual pcm issues shortly as well as some of our trial and errors of figuring this out.

May God bless each and every one of you and thank you for your business and patience.
