I have a 2000 Sahara that I’ve added Halo LED’s with DRL’s several years ago. Recently I can’t turn the headlights off with out disconnecting the battery. Would the headlight switch cause these to stay on? No other lights are on when switch is open.

The way the factory designed the headlight circuit it's extremely simple... no relay, just an on-off switch. If you you didn't change the wiring or add a relay the problem is simply a broken headlight switch (multi-function switch).

I have the same problem with my 02 TJ... headlights will not turn off and are in High Beam setting ... I replaced the multi function switch on the steering column and no change ... I also replaced the head light fuse in the engine compartmnt ...anything else i can try ?
