My jeep does not have AC, it gets up to 210 degrees, both hoses get hot. I have done a heater core flush and there was no blockage, came out clear water. It isn’t like my heat is cold but definitely not anywhere near hot enough for comfort. I have replaced blower motor along with resistor and resistor connector and have no clue where to go with it next. any help would be appreciated!

Have you owned it the whole time ? sounds like the heater core might have been replaced . this seems to be a common complaint with most non factory core's.....

hell no ! not unless it's absolutely necessary ....like I said there's a lot of complaints with new core's unless you can find a OEM core and they're unobtainable !!!the aftermarket core's just don't put out the heat, but if your has been fine up until now there is something else going on.
you said you flushed the heater core but what about the rest of the system ? did you use thermocure ?
Might want to pull the thermostat and verify it's opening correctly and is the right temperature.

Only the core and just used water. I will try with thermocure
how many miles on your Jeep ? my Rubi has 99k and I just used thermocure on the cooling system and I was surprised at the amount of crap that came out of it. my heat was good but now will about run you out it's so hot, I need to put a thermometer on it and check how hot it is.

I drained the entire cooling system including pulling the block drain plug, flushed the heater core both ways reinstalled the drain plug. then added the thermocure and filled the system with water, drove it about 4 hours and it wasn't going to freeze that night so left it in overnight and started draining and flushing the system about 4 times until it was clear. I would drain and flush then refill with water only and take it for a drive in-between flushes. then on the last flush added 5 qts of GO5 coolant and filled with water and filled reservoir with 50/50 GO5 after cleaning it out. to pull the block drain you need a 7mm square drive- I took a cheap 3/8 extension and ground it down to .308 in to fit the plug...Oreilys was the cheapest place I found the thermocure
I didn’t see it mentioned but is it possible the door, or flapper isn’t opening when you slide the lever to hot? The actuator can snap off on the inside and it appears it’s moving fine but the door/flapper stays in the closed position.
I don’t see what year you have but on my 97 the clamp that held the cable that operates the door was missing, so the cable was moving but not actually opening the door.

I haven’t looked into it yet, it’s a 2001 but it has no AC so i’m not sure if that changes anything
I don’t think the AC would make a difference. I don’t have it either. I know on the 97 it’s easy to check. Passenger footwell just under the dash. Mine is operated with a cable like you’d find on a bike brake cable. I think the newer models operate off vacuum. Either way you should be able to see if it’s actually moving the door while you move the heater lever back and forth. Quick check will at least rule it out.
There is a video on this thread that kinda shows you what you’d be looking for and the door that should be opening. Do a search on here for 2001 hvac actuator and there’s several to read.

It appears that the door actuator is missing. I can see where it would go but I don’t see a cable or anything going to where it would be. Can a jeep even have heat with out this?
Yes, it seems to turn smooth and the blend door is missing for some reason. I watched a few videos and it seems like this is where the door should be. also i’m only 17 and this is my first jeep so sorry i’m not that experienced yet!
