Hey all. Embarrassing to have to ask, but just attempted to replace stock lights but the guide tabs on the rear of Hella lens too thick by about 3-4 mm. Are these “tabs/guides supposed to be manipulated?

I encountered this issue before with some aftermarket LED headlights and ended up sending them back. You could use a Dremel tool though to make some extra space. That would work just fine.

Thanks Chris. I pulled the tabs off and now too much room. I think if I mash the sides of the tabs down it might get me there, but before I “mod” another of these lights I wanted to hear from others. Gotta “shim” the other one now to take up the space I lost by removing those tabs.
