extreme might be a stretch , i just didn't want the 35 tires and the howling CAI and the twitchy throttle input of the Edge throttle body.I also didn't want the harsh ride that those springs provided and the whole back seat was gutted for the speaker enclosure and a huge amp in the center console with 00 wires right off the battery feeding it . It also had a way to big front bumper with a 12500 or 10,000 winch .
So now so far I'm back to stock intake and throttle body , with HR springs and the Bilstiens 5100 and stock like control arms front and rear ( Moog replacements ) , I still need to get rid of the front control arm open hiem style joint where they drilled out the chassis taper . I fixed up the diffs and kept the stock 4.10 untill I drive it a bit and see if I need to change it . It has a standard 6 speed that I replaced the syncros on cause it growled into 3rd and wouldn't go into 5 th , shifts nice now .
I want to drive it awhile and decide where I want to go with it , I would like a capable on and off road unit that like 60/40 trail to road .
So right now I'm trying to figure out kind of headlights its gonna get , LED yes , just which ones ? those stock lights are pretty bad once you have been exposed to factory LED headlights .
