Hi, This is Alex, German, in Macon, Georgia since 6 Months.

And now a Jeep Owner. 2006 LJ, Manual 6 Speed. there are a few things to fix. (Maybe more, let´s see)

This is now my daily driver, and I plan to keep it stock. And fix things. :)

Welcome! From just north of Atlanta, Georgia. I may not be German, but I sure speak it!

Undercarriage rust doesn't look too bad, just take a wire wheel to places and repaint. Something you could probably knock out in a good weekend. A bit of degreaser on the engine and she'll be almost like new! Goo Gone one what's left of the "Kelly?" sticker on the rear left. Carpets if you want, fender bolt on the dash tray.

I'd replace those anchor bolts on the battery... Who decided that was a good idea?

Anyways, prepare your wallet for things to come!
 
First thing is plug that loose hose from the front valve cover elbow back onto the airbox fitting!

I was marooned in Macon - or whatever the very next little burg is north on 95 - over Memorial day weekend several years ago. Had to have my car shipped back home to Florida, and couldn't get anything done until Tuesday morning!

Have you heard of the USS Macon airship?
 
Arrived only a few days ago, so yes, there is still a lot of work ahead. Anchor bolts, it wasn´t me!

And now I know about the USS Macon, and yes I really do wish they would build these ships again. Imagine an cruise ship in the air!
 
Welcome from North Ga. Got alot of family from Cochran just a skip away from Macon.
