Been lurking around here for a couple of weeks. Thought I should get around to introducing myself. Picked up "my" first jeep a couple weeks ago, 1999 TJ with manual transmission. My sons have owned several jeeps but this is my first.
Not sure where to begin as far as upgrades. Audio upgrade is a high priority. Then I'd like to work on the handling a bit. I just put new tires on, Goodyear Wrangler Adventure with Kevlar, 285/75/R16. Jeep has Supreme Suspension 2" spring spacer lift. Everything else suspension wise seems stock.
Working on getting it ready to pass PA inspection, tire place said that my wheel spacers won't pass and there is a bolt missing on the belly pan and something about one of the shock pedestals.
So far I've only changed the oil. Get ready for a bunch of threads asking newby questions. I have been using the search function so I'm learning a bunch already!
