Help me remove my wheel

I was gonna replace brake lines today but there's this dumbass nut on my wheel. Is this some kind of anti theft ?
What special tool would i need ?

Naturally it'd be easier job with wheel off. Lol

Ok may have found it......6pt spline lug key .
Good thing i found it now before a flat

That lugnut takes a special socket. You could try to hammer a deep socket that fits tight. It might catch enough of the nut to get it off.

Thankfully you found the key. I went through this issue with a wheel on a Honda Accord years ago. I went to the auto part store and got one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FTN3KK/?tag=wranglerorg-20

It worked for me!

I went ahead and replaced the hoses and calipers, was easier with the wheels off.
My first wrangler, didn't realize Jeep did this but i know now

Either replace those lug nuts with regular, or just don't set the key on the bumper and drive off...I speak from experience...

Get rid of the locking lug nuts. They don't work anyways. I know cause my spare had one and I was able to break it by using a tight fitting socket. I hammered it on and snapped the lock with minimal force. I then used a press to get the lug nut out of the socket. All told it took me less than 10 minutes.

I just removed all mine with a deep socket and a BFH. No more locking lug nuts.

I tried a pile of deep sockets, nothing was close.

Bummer. I did ruin two sockets though, but they were cheap ones.
