So I've opted out on switching my dana 35 with a ford 8.8 that I let grind on gears and blow.

A member gave me the idea to just swap in a dana 35 with 3.07 gears which I had currently in the front 30 and rear 35 both 3.07. The problem with this before it blew I added so much armor/ 33 inch tires it wasn't performing well. So With this problem already what should I do? swap the "bad differential", switch gears to 4.56 and add a super master kit to the 35 or both?

Also the dana 35 used is from a 2000 Shara. When purchasing it , if I do what do I look for so Im not buying a broken differential just like the one I have already. Also I was planning to do a locker but now that I am planning to not switch the Axel and stay cheap lane . I don't know if adding a locker to these axels that are stock . Is it worth it? so instead of a 2400 axel I can get a dana 35 used and what else would I need to make it wrong and durable to last me? help please

Super35 with locker and regear would be strong enough for 35’s.

Pull the shafts and check the splines. Remove diff cover and check the ring and pinion gear teeth as best you can.
