I'm new to the forum. Finally got a TJ after all these years of contemplating one. So far it's a blast. I think I will sell my CJ7 now that I have this. I have a cj5 as well that I'm restoring.

What mess? Looks pretty clean to me! Nice Rubi. Welcome to the forum! Lots of great folks here, and great info. Bet you have some to share of your own.

Nice collection...why limit yourself to just Jeeps lol...is that a 73 monte carlo ?

It is a 1970 Monte. First year Monte carlo, and identical to my first car. I just found it a few months ago and decided to drag it home to realive my teens from the early 90's. I love the first generation Montes.

I'm definitely not brand loyal. I have Jeeps, Chevrolet's, fords, a Dodge and a Volvo. I'm just a car guy.

But I grew up riding in the back seat of CJ's. So Jeeps will always have a special place in my heart.

I had a lifted Toyota FJ that I sold to buy this Rubicon.

I love the late 60's early 70's land-boats... @Squatch will chime in for sure you sound like kindred spirits.

Sounds like we could be! Lol Since you owned a 70 monte you definitely have to be a good guy. I would take a 70-72 monte over any car in the world. I absolutely love them.

Thanks for chiming in. This seems like a great forum and I can't wait to dig around a little and learn more about the TJ. I'm going to wheel this one a little and will share pics.

Just ordered some metalcloak front fenders yesterday. Can't wait to get them installed.

Maybe I am a cousin? I used to know a guy that had a 70 Monte Carlo once. It was pretty bad ass.

I'm a car guy too but have a heavy foot. Lol
I keep blowing them up !!
I recently sold a 67 Bonneville, that thing was a boat.
You'll find that TJ'S are are simple to work on.
