Hood replacement recommendations

Hey TJ Community,

I have hail damage on my current hood. It happened many years ago so an insurance claim is not in the picture. I am just looking for recommendations on a good replacement hood. I have a dark blue color scheme with blacktop so I thought a black hood might look pretty good. I’m not really looking to get it painted or spend that kind of money so is there any recommendations out there forgetting just a base black hood or is there something that I could do to paint it myself, maybe with the bedliner. Thank you in advance. 2002 Wrangler X 4.0

I would Fabricate your own creation.....attached some I have done in my driveway....just my two cents....these already damaged, so I figured I would just make them my own..

I wouldn't replace it with anything but an OE hood. The aftermarket ones never fit as well.

the only after market hood i would use is the chris durham motorsports hi line hood for TJs. the same one used on tube sock from dirt every day

Dark Blue , could be Patriot blue which is common enough to get from a Jeep wreckers (Salvage yard).....x3 on an OE hood though...you could be messing around for ages trying to get an after market one to fit properly.

The Durman hood is similar to the one we saw on that CJ at Starbucks this spring. I don't recall what he did for inner fenders, if anything.
