Hi all, Horn is in op on my 97 TJ. No airbag light, wipers works, turn signal works ( no cruise control). The horns work with jumper wire, fuse is good, relay is good (swapped) power on the relay checks good…. Horn bottom or clock spring?
In the TJ Resources section on this forum there is a downloadable PDF of the Factory Service Manual for your year TJ that will have schematics in section 8W which will have harness connector numbers, wiring pin outs, colors and wiring gauge to assist you in troubleshooting your problem.
It's been a long time, but I seem to remember the '97 models being a little different than the later models as far as the horn setup goes. Does yours have a dual horn or single?

Okay, so yours is probably setup like my '97. Check the cigarette lighter socket for power, if it is dead check the fuse that powers it. On mine if that fuse blows it takes out the horn as well.
