How hard to change trim?

I have black trim in my Jeep now. Eventually down the line I would like to switch to the lighter khaki style trim like on some rubicon’s.

I saw you can buy a whole new dash on eBay. And then probably just switching out door inserts/center console. Anything else I’m not thinking about or better options from aftermarket?

I think with the right donor/parts it’d be fairly straight forward. Any complications going from 2000 interior to 2006

Definitely use paint. Any good auto body paint shop supplier should able to help you. I've seen guys who tu-toned the interior plastic panels. Looks fabulous.

It will all be easy with the exception of the dash. That will be the hardest part.

I was considering finding some of the darker trim pieces and doing the lower part of my dash in those, to match or better blend in a Tuffy glove box one day. I think two tone would look pretty sweet.
 
SEM has a bunch of colors. Marine grade as well. Most boat stores and Parks Automotive finishes carry them. Use the adhesion promoter...
