How is the Sunrider top front portion supposed to sit when folded back?

MountaineerTom is right, same principle applies to the OEM top. The top doesn’t sit on the rear tire but falls back at tailgate area, same idea as a regular TJ.

Undo headers, pull drip rails above doors, pull pins from door surrounds. Unclip the 2 rear sails that tuck into the tub. Only thing you don’t do is don’t move the knuckle/barrel to allow the sunrider portion to pivot you want this to be as one section.
Then fold top back

Oh yeah, the rear sails. I forgot about those.

I also keep a couple straps on hand to wrap around the folded and lowered top just to keep it from flapping around while driving.

I had the fabric folded inwards so there was about half the sunrider opening I never had a sunrider top and didn't start using till about a month ago. Probably should have read the manual when I bought the LJ last year haha
