You’ll also need the proper coolant and distilled water a old gallon jug and a bucket.
Now to flush out all the old crap.
You should always check your gauges to make sure your temp is good
1. set up your funnel with the adapter and rubber seals so water doesn’t leak out when the funnel is on and tight.
2. Fill the funnel with water and try to always keep water in the funnel you don’t want the system sucking air
3. Put your bucket under your petcock to catch the water. Familiarize yourself with the direction it goes to open and close and don’t open too far or it will come out and you could lose all your fluid. If this happens make sure your engine is off and screw it back in and refill the radiator until the funnel has water in it again
4. Start your engine open your petcock and keep on the water level when it starts to get low close the petcock. Fill your gallon jug with hot water from the tap DONT USE COLD WATER! and fill the funnel again and open the petcock it’s important to keep the engine running as this is helping to keep all the crap running out the petcock.
5. Once the water starts running clear your done and can fill the radiator with distilled water and appropriate coolant
