You shouldn't need a puller to remove the yoke...
IF you haven't already; spray some Kroil or similar creeping penetrant onto the splines.
Get a rubber coated dead blow hammer (so you don't mar the surface) and smack around at the four corners to remove.

You can bolt the ends of a chain with something with a little mass attached to it down to the yoke with bolts and big washers and yank it off.
