I finally got my TJ!

I finally got one and an LJ to boot. Had to share the news with people who would appreciate it It's in great shape with 111k miles and has MANY parts already on it that I would have done so I can go offroad asap.
Had a budget to work with that actually allowed for some '07-'11 JKs but there was going to be none of that crap in this house, the Mrs. has a JL and now I have an LJ. I left an '05 Highlander with 258k miles to jump in this beast so it is taking a little getting used to
Now to go and make the list of things to tweak, wrench on and upgrade. I was actually impressed with the stock stereo. It will be replaced but it's not half bad.

LOL... oops, sorry about the pics. I was going to wait until I got it on some trails or at least in the woods to take some cool pics but I guess I will take it over to a parking lot tomorrow and get some on here.
It's a 2004 LJ and has a lot of what I wanted already done and the guy had all of the receipts and info for the work so it was well documented. Still couple of things I want to do and some things that need to be tweaked.
All the specs are on my profile page and I will get some pics up here in the next few days. It's not a Saharicon

This weekend I will take them. Got the new bumper on and for now it's not getting any other mods. Well if I sell my hard top it will be getting a Bestop Trek top, so go over to the market place where I have it advertised and buy it

OK, here it is, sorry for the delay. Took it off roading for the first time yesterday and last night and the Mrs. and I had a blast. The floor mats are out of it because my driver's side was soaked Saturday when I got in it. Somehow a bunch of water got in it during the last rain we had.
The hard top is going bye bye in favor of a Bestop Trek fastback top. Figure it would take awhile to sell my hard top and while out on the trails I met a guy with a 2005 Rubi Unlimited same color as mine and he offered to by the top.

Not many Khaki exteriors with the dark slate interior (and black tops), which imo looks great.

You definitely don't see the khaki exterior with the dark slate interior often... usually it's the khaki interior like mine.

Either way, it looks great! I'm not a fan of the black wheels, but otherwise I dig it!

Funny thing is I like the Khaki interior more but it sounds like I'm more special with charcoal... and black rims... lol. It is a lot of black which is why I like the white letters to break it up.

I didn't like the khaki interior at first, but now I actually love it and I wouldn't want anything else. My last TJ had the dark slate (black) interior, so the khaki is sort of a refreshing change.

LOL. That's my wife's. It went like this... "It's my 50th b-day, we are going to Italy or I am getting a Jeep" I said, "Let's go to the dealership."
Turns out that was waaaaaaaay more expensive than a trip to Italy, but we fell in love with the Jeep. We drank the kool-aid fast and hard. Started modifying it and then came off roading and we were hooked. "You need to get a Jeep so we can wheel together." translate that to mean "I don't want to share my Jeep when we off road."
And that my friend is how I bought my TJ

p.s. - The JL is AWESOME, refined yet a beast. We are very pleased with it.
