Ideas for front side marker lights

Since I lowered the Jeep the 7 inch fender flares look funny with the 31x10.5 tires. I’m thinking about cutting the flares down to 3 inches. My problem is I can’t figure out how to incorporate the side marker lights to the cut flares. I want to use the small round LEDs.
Unfortunately I need the markers for state inspection. Has anyone added LEDs to cut down flares and any pics?

If you cut them down, you could screw in or rivet a small angled tab to the under side of the flare that will hold a 3/4 inch led. Or even better a small thin led mounted horizontally. It might not look the best but if you’re cutting flares down it might not matter.
