That's how my place looked before I bought a real tool box.
I think I have everyone’s 10mm sockets...... there are so many in my shop.
Now, 7/16, or a 9/16??? Good luck finding one of those in my shop.

He probably knows where everything is in that pile also. I can get messy but that is next level.
I recently went through my sockets and threw the extras in a bin full of unneeded Jeep parts I was giving away for free.
I didn't count, but there was probably a couple of pounds in various sockets and drivers in what I tossed. And I only threw out what was in excess of (2), so there are still plenty that I have 2 of. I put the orphaned ones in a plastic organizer in a lower drawer of my toolbox.

Truly, looks like my Dad's shop. Takes forever to do anything there, all your time is spent looking for a tool, which could be anywhere. Usually the last place he used it, but he can never remember where that was. Though his are usually on benches, chairs, in buckets, not often on the floor.
I didn't want to be obvious and look around...lets just say cleanliness wasn't this person's strong suit.
