In-Jeep Tool Kit

I used to stick with Snap On or Matco, and sometimes Mac for my shop. But now I’ve gone over to SK for the reasons you mentioned, but also because they a very easy to get quickly from Amazon. In my experience, if you are not a shop, buying from the big guys is a pain - their consumer web sites all are horrible, and shipping usually takes much longer.

Great quality on the SK tools. I’ve yet to have a failure. The only things I do still get from Snap On are things like torx and alan bits. The better steel on those small items makes a difference.
SO/Matco website pricing is absolutely no different than the truck price. They do a good job of protecting the truck people on price. They're good tools ahd yes they're inflated due to the truck service but at times is a priceless service. I don't have time to fuck around ordering shit...driving to get...or waiting on the mail for a new tool and or replacement.
Every Friday my SO guy is here and he's truly an excellent rep. He lives a few miles away and will meet me in the truck in his driveway if I've got an emergency with something. Saturday, Sunday after Beer 30 during the week no matter.
We definitely buy a lot of SO because of him. We're buying him more than the tool.

Some truck guys (all brands) are lazy and that does a complete disservice to the tool company they rep. It hurts their sales too but whatever.

I don't have Cornwell truck so nothing to say about Cornwell. I've zero experience with them whatsoever so nothing bad or good nor do I know the intricate details of that company like country of origin, upper and lower lines, etc...I just don't know about them.

On an SK note...if you haven't messed with their x-frame wrenches you're missing out on a great engineered piece of equipment. They're open one end with biting edges and the boxed end is ratcheting. The key there is the tiny....and I mean tiny...swing arc of the ratcheting side. They're are a zero offset wrench and a tad thicker (won't dig into your hand). No reverse switch so you definitely need to think ahead.....but they're a tremendous wrench. 6 point on the ratchet side as well. 😎

That's a great recommendation list. I like that the gear wrench sockets have the relieved edge design. Helps not strip bolts IMO. I'm doing Crows foot instead of large crescents for the control arm nuts.
Holy cow, that’s a fantastic idea, Boom. I carry two gigantic open end wrenches for the control arms. Carrying two large crows foots instead is brilliant.

Even cut down, still pretty heavy for something I’ve never had to use.
