So my brother sent me a video link to check out the new Ineos Grenadier. I had to ask him what the hell he was talking about as I had never heard of Ineos. The long and short of it is that a group of guys complained that all the new SUVs lacked true off road capabilities. So instead of just complaining about it they started their own company and are building a straight axle, ladder framed 4x4 that looks like a modern defender 110. The first 12 minutes of the video talks about engineering the axles and stuff only off roaders care about (departure angles and axle movement). The design of the vehicle (the reveal) starts at the 12 minute mark. Very cool story. I hope they make it. Worth checking out if you have the time.
