Probably.
The first few days I had my TJ I looked around the internet and found at least a couple different sites. I think I have a user name and password for one other than this one. Anyway I don't even remember the names of the others because this one seemed best.

don't think it's just you, and the environments on those other forums probably contribute a lot to why this place has been so successful. I posted over there for a lot of years and was just a non-registered lurker here, but once I started getting more active here I completely stopped going there. I'm not even sure I could log in if I needed to.
There was actually some pretty good comments about this lately on a thread-
Really I think the collective mindset of most forums represents probably the average - And on average you’re going to find guys here that are pretty seasoned do it yourself mechanics and some professionals and you’re gonna find a hands on, helpful and accurate mindset-just regular guys, and Zorba.
Having this forum is almost like having @Jerry Bransford as a neighbor, without the hookers going in and out all hours.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that that is the last year the TJ wrangler was produced- I bet somebody saw that calendar and pretty much thought the world was coming to an end.
