Is there an correlation between O2 sensor and EVAP?

Is there any correlation to between the o2 sensor/system and emissions EVAP? Would o2 sensor b1/s2 failure possibly trigger EVAP leak?

I've been having intermittent P0456 (small EVAP leak, gas cap) off an on but had it solved for a few months. P0138 just popped up and P0456 did too. After a few days of driving short distances both codes when away after refilling up with gas. I thought EVAP test is only run on a fuel tank 25-75% and cold start so it was odd the EVAP code went away too.

I don't see any correlation. Did you use a smoke machine to test for vacuum leaks when you tested the evap system?

Good to know - I was starting to think it could be a sign of another underlying issue...knowing my Jeep there probably still is.

I didn't do a smoke test since the code went away. After reading numerous other EVAP leak threads I saw that the EVAP test performed by the computer was only done at 25-75% full tank. So filling up from a half tank to full tank (warmed up after driving to gas station) I found it odd the code went away - meaning an internal test was done and found no EVAP leak. Previously cleaning the gas cap solved the EVAP issue for me.
