Is this a fake Mopar transmission mount?

Hey All,

I order an open box 52058551ab transmission mount from Amazon and this is what I received. Please see photos. I am no expert, so I have come here. It doesn't look like an oem part. And the numbers on the bottom suggest it is an aftermarket part. So.....

What do you all think? I think it is the old switcheroo.

I don't buy parts from Amazon anymore. That doesn't look right to me, but its been a bit since I've seen one.

Not 100% proof, but I noticed on other oem ones there are 4 mounting marks (circles) on the bottom.

I paid over 100. They refunded me. I was just curious of your opinions on it. I noticed all the aftermarket part numbers are the 2882 that this part number ended in.

Looks like they opened the box in China.

I replaced the transmission mount on my '01 in March.
The part on the right was the original mount and appeared to be an OEM; the part on the left appeared to be OEM (52058551AB) made in Canada.

Yeah, I know right. They got me.

That's why I use Paypal for everything. I ALWAYS get a refund if needed. Most times I keep the product even if it's a minor issue too. WIN WIN for me 90% of the time.

No.. I do not, but I remember mine had a tiny Canadian Oak Leaf symbol on the other side.

The Mopar transmission mount has recently been discontinued. In op’s case, it’s probable that someone purchased the Mopar mount and returned an aftermarket mount in the box.

About a year ago, I purchased a Mopar mount on Amazon and it shipped from a Jeep dealership. The plastic packaging also had Mopar info and the Mopar part number and Chrysler emblem were on the rubber molding.
