Is this a scam?

I'd say so. Always stand by the old saying...if it's too good to be true it probably is. You'd be hard pressed to find a decent generator with an invertor under $500...let alone the regular price of $99.99.

Sure sounds like a scam but I am tempted to try it.

I didn't click on the link but there are dozens of ads on FB for 99 dollar Honda generators. Not gonna happen. Yesterday there were dozens of ads for 99 dollar carports that can't even be shipped for 99 dollars.

Not sure how the scam works but they are all over the place now.

I can tell you how they work since my wife used my card and fell for one once.

They get your card number and use it for nefarious purposes. You end up getting a box of fake RayBan sunglasses in the mail.

Instagram is full of birkenstocks and hiking boots for $35. Which normally run $100+. Had a friend buy two pair. Charged his card nothing got shipped. I guess if tjey can pull the cash out fast enough and default on a merchant account and a bank account. They can make a few bucks.

And remember the $20 mini air conditioners. Theyre tiny swamp coolers. That might blow some cooler air in your face. But so will a fan and a sink fool of water. My sister bought one. Thinking it would cool her living room. Wth?!
