I bought a 98 tj and it came with what I believe are the stock fog lights. They did not work so I took them off and it turn out taht they both work but the only problem was taht the wiring was not set up correctly. I’m a nubie to electrical and just wanted to confirm if this is how you are suppose to wire them.
Is this how stock fog lights are wired?

There are two terminals on the bulb, one needs power and the other is ground. The yellow wire is the case ground for the light, it needs to be on the ground side or you will short out your system. If you want you can disconnect that yellow wire all together, you don't really need a case ground for those. It just allows the light to work with a single wire and the case as ground as the other connection.
