It's called Slate Grey, Chrysler. Can't really tell alot from the color sample posted on the page. I want to paint my door panels to match the dash again. They did at one time I'm assuming.

Plan to prep with red scotchbrite pads, and an alcohol or acetone rub down after. Is there a primer that will benefit this at all? The site above does not list one. Only prep cleaners for the plastic panels.

Or any other recommendations? I don't plan on doing this over again - ever. Maybe some touch up as time goes on. But I'd like to do it right the first time.

I read his thread. And like the color of his panels. But I was unable to see them next to his dash for a comparison. The SEM 17373 is Chrysler Slate Grey. And what @Lilbomb used was Ford Black. I just thought the Chrysler paint might be a better match.

He also used Colorbond. And I was wondering the durability difference between that and the SEM stuff. I think I'll ask him directly and see if he knows.

I just really don't want to do this again. So I'm trying to "buy once, cry once" or better put "do once - not twice cause I was too cheap to buy the good stuff!:. ;)

I've also read alot about Landau Black from SEM. It's supposed to match several cars interiors black perfectly.
