2002 TJ 4.0 w/ NV3550 5 speed searching for a harmonic balancer located on the output shaft of transfer case. Mine has a significant amount of wobble while spinning in 1st gear which I assume is not good....

Thanks, "whitrzac" I kind of figured it was because I'm fairly new to this forum. I read somewhere that the balancer is needed on the 4.0 6 cyl with manual transmission. I am trying to determine a vibration which seems to come from rear driveshaft region. I noticed the balancer had a lot of wobble with rear end on jackstands and in first gear. I recently installed a Zone 4 1/2" combo lift w/ mml- trying to eliminate any source of vibration. I'm also going to install a new transmission mount as mine seems to flex easily. If all else fails will add washers to drop TC....
