JB Super Short SYE Conversion

Does anyone know if I have to remove the front driveline to install the sye with the transfer case inside the jeep?

If I remember correctly you need to remove the chain on the inside which requires removing the front drive shaft and taking off the yoke + nut.

Thank you I just needed to know if I had to and reason behind doing so. This makes total sense.

I've seen people claim otherwise but there was no way my chain would come off without pulling the front output shaft with it, and same with putting it on. If the chain had enough slack to do that, I wouldn't feel comfortable putting it back in anyway.
