Planning on driving from Va to FL in the Jeep for Jeep Beach in Daytona. I’m starting my maintenance prep now so I can get it out of the way. I plan on changing transfer case fluid, oil change before, both diff fluid change, spark plugs replaced and brake replacement front and rear. Am I missing anything I should look over? Also what brakes does everyone recommend?

I'd be trying to prevent all that ocean salt from getting on the bottom of the Jeep. A good coat of fluid Film or something. I'm not near an ocean so someone else may have a better insight as to the best way to deal with sandy salt. Could be better to wait till afterwards and then flush everything out and then use the fluid film.

Fresh filters/fluids, or at least make sure they’re topped off. Double check track bar bolts, fill it up with gas and go. I’d also add a couple more PSI to your tires once it’s all loaded down. I usually run 28psi in my 35’s loaded up for a 6hr trip to the beach. Then I drop them down to 18-20psi for the week. I also carry the appropriate tools to handle just about any minor breakdowns.
