I have just joined this forum as I discovered something very interesting in regard to jeep lean. If this is no mystery then I apologize, but...I was just under my TJ adjusting the toe-in/out and noticed something odd with the control arms while taking the measurements. I had to do do this twice to be sure I wasn't imagining things; on the passenger side, the factory control arm mounting bracket for the lower arm has the hole for the frame bolt 3/8 inch higher than on the driver side (measured from the center of the bolt). This bracket is in good shape and is not damaged or rusted out. Either the hole was incorrectly placed during the manufacturing process, or it was mounted incorrectly on the frame. Either way, it explains a lot about jeep lean. Has anyone else noticed this?

Springs set your ride height.
Control arms and the track bar define the arc of travel the axle makes going up and down and articulating.
If you have a lean it's because you have a spring issue or a weight issue. Possibly an issue with something impeding the spring like a frozen shock or bound up control arms.
