I think my husband is about to kill me.. my 1997 jeep wrangler was running so great AFTER the new engine was put in.. Now its cutting out while driving and the rpm gauge shoots up .. sorry if that makes sense. I was out of town and he decided to replace the fuel pump and tps sensor.. it quit doing it on the first test drive , 2nd drive its doing it again.. check engine light is on i tried pulling the codes usinh the turning the ignition on and off method no codes popped up.. was thinking of purchasing a code scanner then hopefully it will tell us what's wrong. I have to say props to my husband he is not a mechanic but he hunkers down and gets help and watches videos to figure it out. Were both feeling defeated.
