Anyone found any good options for Gun racks in a TJ? Interested in finding one that maybe mounts between the roll bars just under the roof

I fiddled about with this and never came up with a satisfying answer. The best I came up with is some of those individual rifle mounts for Quads fixed on the vertical part of the sport bar. The butt goes into the rear seat foot well, and the upper stock goes into a forked mount affixed below the seat belt mount on the rear of the sport bar. It works, and you can get a weapon in and out pretty easily, but you're limited to about 33" or so of length. So no long rifles. Shorter barreled shotty's, carbine length lever guns and shorter barreled rifles work fine and are easily accessible, and lockable. You run out of room rather quickly in a TJ for secure and safe weapons mounting. I've seen a couple of mounts rigged up between the sport bars in back where the sound bar goes, but don't like the access with the top up.

I've been looking at the Great Day Quick Draw overhead gun rack for quite some time now. I didn't order it in time for deer hunting next Saturday so I can't give a personal review. Just got a chance to look that over, and...it's not going to work for me. I've got radios mounted there in an Arizona Rocky Road radio mount. Bummer.
