I'm new to the forums, I'm halfway through doing an engine swap on my TJ (2.4 to 4.3) and find myself in need of some information.
I've got the old engine out, just got rid of the broken block to the local scrapyard, and come to realize after the fact that i needed some dimensions...
Could anybody please tell me the height of the Engine Mount Brackets? from where they mount to the block to bolt centre on the frame side engine mount.
I'm looking to find out what the offset of brackets is for the purpose of engine centering (whether they compensate to the driver's or passenger's side).
Would the 2.5 potentially have the same offset?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks kindly.
