JL issues

Gotta love that one guy who couldn't accept what was going on, and basically told the OP to pound sand. Blindly defending Jeep.
Yeah it would really suck to not be able to enjoy your vehicle. I always thought that buy backs/lemons were because of significant mechanical issues. I didn't know that wind noise qualified. I'm sure a lot depends on your dealer and if they fight for you???

I ran into a wild/funny issue riding in my uncle's JL taking photos. In low gear the transmission created interference in the 2-meter band on our radio and we had to switch to a different band. This was a handheld so not a bad ground looping into the antenna mount.

Still at the dealers. They will choke the chicken for a few more days and admit defeat once again. I asked them if they pulled the cowls under the pillars or the one in covering the wipers and searched for sources leaks there and they said no. They have only played with the roof gasket and I think much of the source is the pillars and doors. They haven't really tried to figure this out. The dealer asked us to open a claim with Chrysler. I guess too many in the maintenance business are just parts changers. Chysler never calls us back when they say they will. They don't seem to care as well.

The dealer likely has a sub contract with a water leak specialist. My Jeep dealer does. All he does is visit the local dealers and diagnoses and resolves water leaks on vehicles brought into the dealer’s service departments.

I found this on the JL forum [email protected]
Tell him your story, nicely. It's always good to start a conversation firm but nice. Good luck.
