Largest R15 Mud Tires (tallest)

I cannot find a tire larger than 35” Muds for a 15” rim.

If I look to go to a 37 (on my TJ but probably more my CJ5) will I have to replace my rims with 17’s? I won’t be doing that, ha.

I can’t find any, but they may be out there.

It's only going to get worse with time. 15" wheels and MT tires for them are going the way of the Dodo. 17" are the new 15" and 20" are the new 17".

They sell 35” BFG’s I’m mostly happy, ha. Just wondering.

I run Goodyear MT/Rs in 35/12.5/15 and they've been discontinued in the 15" wheel variety.

Toyo has a 37x14.50r15 Open Country MT. And there's always the Maxxis Creepy Crawler and various Swampers.

I question why you'd want that, it would be so much sidewall and look like balloons and be unstable in any off camber scenario.

You’re gonna want bigger brakes with 35+ and that will require bigger wheels.

This^^. The Toyo MT is the only "street-friendly" option I know of that offers what you're looking for. Otherwise, anything from Interco should fit what you're looking for.

25-30 years ago when I was running original Cepek Fun Country 15/36-15s on my Bronco, it handled like a balloon tired farm implement. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Interco has up to a 44" tire in a 15" rim

Hmm, so Toyo might be an option. I have pretty new 35’s on my TJ, but looking at possibly going to 37’s on my CJ, and yes y’all can give me grief, the only Offroad she’ll see is the beach in Galveston or Port A most likely.

I need to see how wide the wheels need to be for a 14.50 wide tire. I haven’t measured these , assuming they were 10’s wide for the 12.50 tires. Y’all put 14.50 on the same wheels as 12.50 wides?

Because I want it, ha. Not on my TJ most likely, but for my CJ that I’m more having a blast riding to the Saturday Bar/Restaurant Car Shows, Beach and just around town.

My TJ is my Let’s Go Jeep. JK I’m building for my son in the Army in Estonia until December when he gets back and needs it.

Yes, they're too big. No, they haven't caused the Jeep to explode. Yes, I have, and am, considering going back down to a 35 when these wear out and I get the mid arms installed.

Also they're super expensive but it's my second set of them and both times I got them half price. Pitbull does the occasional short lived half off sale. Or at least they used to. I just mounted this set up last fall but I had them sitting in my basement for a couple years.

I should clarify, with my Jeeps I kinda had a "somewhat" plan.....for my TJ and for my CJ. The ones on the left are my "I liked that one" pic and the right where my TJ and CJ sit now.

The CJ inspiration has the bigger, although I don't want "Super Swampers"...I don't live in Houston where I grew up, ha. Swamp land they work great there.

Thanks for the tips, Toyo I'm going to really look into those for my CJ. 35's on both right now.

My old CJ7 with 37x14.50 Toyo MTs. They rode pretty good from what I remember.
