LED Parking Lights Not Working With LM470 Relay

Apologies if this is a repeat question but I cannot find anyone who had a similar problem. Basically, I replaced my reverse, tail, and parking lights with LEDs. I also put in the LM470 relay. However, even though my hazard lights work right, nothing else does. When I try to use my blinkers, *both* sides flash rapidly.

Everything works with *one* LED parking light and one regular parking light, but when I have an LED in both parking lights, it all goes haywire. Any ideas? I though the LM470 was supposed to cover everything except the side markers (fender flares).

This is an 02. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a repeat.

I believe the fender/sidemarkers are reversed. I believe you can use a non-polarized LED in the sidemarker, but not the front turn signal unless the sidemarker is converted to three-wire. The fender bulb must use significantly more current than the sidemarker bulb for the factory wiring to work correctly.

Thanks for the quick reply! Sounds like I just had my list mixed up. I don't really have much interest in trying to convert my side marker into 3 wire, and I'm not particularly interested in trying to splice resistors or anything into my parking lights.

My goal with LEDs was primarily to get my taillights brighter so when I added the covers I still felt like they were sufficiently bright, and to get the backups light to be more useful. Good to go on both those, so for my sanity I think it might be time to cut bait.
