LED turn signals frustration

Hey y’all I’m starting to get real annoyed with led marker lights. I recently added Motobilt highlines and they came with 3/4 marker lights and I thought it would be plug and play but I can’t get them to work properly (yes I have a flasher installed. LM470). The right blinker works perfectly fine but when I turn on the left one, it flashes both marker lights and the odometer flashes. I’ve wired both sides to the correct wires and have it grounded from the new led light to the grill. I’ve tried different ground locations but still can’t get them to work properly. When my headlights are on the left arrow on my dash is solid and the high beam light is on but high beams are not actually on. I’ve checked every ground so I’m not sure what is going on. Be alot easier to diagnose with a color wiring schematic.

In this case many people in TJs rely on the LM470 to resolve the resistance issue but its not a 100% solution. Simplest fix in my experience with most older vehicles with filament bulb circuits was to wire inline resistors with LEDs

I have the LM470 , LED gauges and all LED markers and LED headlights in my TJ without issue. I wired in some inline resistors also

Jeep did a clever hack to make the front marker lights act as turn signals. Today's cars don't put turn signals on the side except maybe on the mirrors.
The scheme plays havoc with LED bulbs so I modified my marker light wiring. Just cut the GY on left, TN on right wires and splice them into the GND BK wires coming from the Fog Lights. Or go to ground somewhere.
Everything worked great. I found Switchback turn signal bulbs and put on clear lenses. Now the running lights are white and the turn signal flashes amber. Like new cars.

Thank you. I figured it out! Turns out the front marker lights supply power to the side markers and since I didn’t change the side markers to leds when this problem was occurring, it was messing with everything. Once I replaced the side markers to LEDs, everything worked! They all work as intended now
