Leftover parts after install

I installed new front brake hoses, new calipers, and new shocks (RS5000X) on both front sides. After cleaning up and tossing the trash, I found two little rings, one on each side. they are split. I don't remember them falling out of or off of anything. They are 10 cm ID and are both the same. Any ideas?

Shocks sometimes have those little rings on the shaft to retain the collar. Could be they fell off the shocks you removed. Are the shafts on your old shocks about 10mm?

Yes, they are! I think those were the original shocks. They had a hard plastic shroud. All of the bolts were rust welded together. I ended up breaking the shaft to get the tops out. Thanks!
