Lift and Tire help

I have a 98 Sahara that is all stock. I am wanting to put a 2 or 3 inch body lift on it for looks not necessarily off roading. I want to keep the driving and handling as close to stock as possible. What size tires would I need to get to make it look better once it is lifted? Thanks for any help

With 2-3" of lift it will look great with either 32" or 33" tires. I had 2.5" of lift and 33" tires and it looked fantastic! Anything bigger wouldn't have fit (or looked) right.

Did you need to replace anything else other than the coils and shocks?

Just put in a 2 inch lift, haven't driven it yet.

At 2.5 inches, no.

However, I have a Rubicon, which means that it already has a fixed yoke on the transfer case.

You'll most likely either need a transfer case drop (if you want to do it the cheap way), or a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) and new CV driveshaft (if you want to do it the right way).

Okay, I just got a new driveshaft, yoke, upper and lower control (oem style) because a buddy of mine hit a center divider and it pushed the axle back. The oem sway bar links should be good right?

Yes, they will be good. If you're planing on doing any serious off-roading / flexing, you'll want either sway bar disconnects or a Currie Antirock (the latter is the best solution).
