I've been a long time member at different points and finally found my forever rig. Just wanted to say thank you to the posters and jeep veterans that make it easier on us still learning new stuff.
Most recently I swapped out my fender flares for wider ones. I hate the new look, wish I got a set about an inch shorter but it will pass inspection in VT now.
So far I've put in a 2.5in lift RC springs and Rancho 9000XL shocks, 33" Cooper STT's on 16" XD wheels with 1.5in RC spacers, rotors/pads, front wheel bearings, front axle shafts, steering stablizer, some piece to help the rig idle right, front sway bar links and lower control arms, stereo deck/speakers/amp/sub, blower motor resistor, soft top and I'm sure some other little stuff.
I picked it up for $5500 from a guy in MA with a hardtop at the end of May and couldn't be happier. It has a rebuilt title but the frame is solid with minimal body rust for a 19 year old rig in the north east. I bought my first YJ back in 2002 and have had the jeep bug since.
