LJ Lift Questions

Hello,

Long time lurker first time poster.

Looking for some insight on lift questions for my LJ rubicon - manual

Right now im running a currie 4 inch short arm kit (fully adjustable), savvy 1.25 body lift and 1 inch MM lift.

My question is what is the best SLE and double cardon driveshaft to use with this setup? I'm reading that it is borderline that I will even need them with this LJ setup, but I think i'd like to do it just to be safe. Budget really isn't an issue, I want to use to use the best possible parts.

Also offtopic but I'd like to use a savvy tummy tuck - are they even making these anymore?

I've always likes Tom Woods Driveshafts. They are very knowledgeable and have great customer service. You Rubicon will not need an SYE as it already has a fixed yoke.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will go with tom woods as there is a lot of positive feedback. The jeep has 150k miles so for the cost I'll do replace front and rear.

Do all 241 transfer cases have a fixed yoke? Is the main benefit of a double cardon driveshaft greater angle tolerence? Are they less finicky when setting pinion angle?

All TJ 241s do not need an SYE as there is not a slip yoke to eliminate.

The reason for a double cardan drive shaft is to reduce the u joint angles. They are no more or less finicky than a single cardan shaft. They allow for a greater range of misalignment and a greater range of suspension travel.
