Long time lurker just registered to start a build tread in the middle of summer when it’s boat season in North Carolina. Going to be swapping a ford coyote motor and Chevy nv4500 into my new to new 97 tj rock crawler. Pro rock 60 rear and pro rock 60 front with solid kingpin knuckles. 4 link, 39” bfg kx tires, weak 4.6 stroker and nv4500 with np241 tcase.

Anyone want to see a Ford 5.0 swap?

Edited to say, I should clarify. My Jeep currently has a 4.6 stroker, nv4500 and np241 with a 4 link, 39” bfgs, and pro rock axles. The weak 4.6 is being removed for the 5.0 coyote

Welcome to the forum! I’ll be looking forward to some pics. That’s a serious build.

That V8 will make a huge difference. Sounds like a nice rig. Post up some pics in its current state!

I am so glad I finally joined, but I thought it would take longer to be attacked by Blaine and Jerry. Day one I already got attacked.
I mentioned to one Member about a factual thing and they jump in, take my post out of context just to assert their dominance. I LOVE IT!
