Saw this nice Wrangler for $7995, just checking it out before buying. Don't want to make a mistake.

Get some photos of the undercarriage. Any spots of rust, especially on the frame. Take a few pictures of the suspension and steering components as well.
Maybe one or two of the engine compartment

The under carriage has been undercoated, the dealer undercoats all his vehicles. There are not signs of rust anywhere that I could see. It's a Texas truck SOUTH Texas that is. No road salt here just what we get from the Gulf breezes.

That makes more sense since this is a big winter Texan destination. I attached the build sheet.

Undercoating... ahhh, the best way possible to cover up rust.

When I see undercoated vehicles, I run.

Could it be rust free? Sure, it could. However, most of the time the "dealers" undercoat vehicles to hide things. That's a typical shady dealer tactic.

They undercoat ALL their vehicles. They appear to be a legit dealer I'm not sure the TJ is the right vehicle for me anyway.

What are you wanting? What price range are you looking in? There are some good craigslist warriors on this site

Edit:

Found your listing:

That seems a bit pricey for a SE. Although I've never really priced them out.

The same dealer has this one listed at the same price. Higher mileage but it's a 4.0

Heck if that tan one is in good condition that's a halfway decent price

The paint looks great and if it’s a Texas Jeep it shouldn’t have rust problems. If it was toted around the country in a camper it could have seen some salt, however who wants to rv in the winter.
