Noticed last week a loud squeaking noise between 3,000 - 4,000 rpm a moment before the gear shift.
Don't hear it always, but mostly when I go up a grade on a highway.
Can come from engine or transmission; while driving it is hard to locate.
Made a video of it in the hope that the squeak is audible, but listening to the video it is almost inaudible.
When the TJ is parked and I rev it up to 3-4k no squeak......
It is a 2005 with the 4.0 and automatic transmission.
Any idea what is wrong?
