Magnetic plugs

my geared friend says I should have magnetic plugs in my crankcase, tranny and transfer case.
Any opinions on this

Are you auto or manual trans? Transfer case already has a magnet inside. The engine already has a filter so not sure how a magnet would help much.

My auto came with one in the pan.
Can't remember which drain plugs already have one on it.

They never hurt. They arguably help. I run them wherever I can and they are cheap.
